About
WISMA EQUITY
Long before Kuala Lumpur's skyline became the one we know today, Wisma Equity was already taking its place along Jalan Ampang.
Completed in 1982 and officially opened in 1983, Wisma Equity was conceived by Dick Chan Teik Huat and Lim Siew Kim and designed by one of Malaysia's most celebrated architects, Hijjas Kasturi.
Its bold, inverted form made Wisma Equity instantly recognisable — a building that grew wider as it rose, standing apart from the conventional towers of its time.
Then, Kuala Lumpur began to change.
Across Jalan Ampang, the old racecourse eventually made way for the Petronas Twin Towers. New buildings rose, neighbourhoods evolved and the city's skyline transformed.
Through it all, Wisma Equity remained.
